Privacy policy

Little Rescue Lab is developed and operated by Vikas Arora. This page explains how the game and this website handle information.

Effective date: 20 October 2026

This policy describes the current testing version, 1.2.0. It uses Google’s dedicated test ads. Live advertising is not currently enabled. We will update this policy before changes to advertising or data practices are released.

1. About the game

Little Rescue Lab is a bridge puzzle game designed for children approximately 6–8 and their families. It does not require an account and has no chat, in-app purchases or first-party analytics service. Puzzles, fonts and game audio are bundled and work offline.

2. Information saved on your device

The app saves completed adventures, tutorial progress, language, volume, caption and motion preferences locally on your device. These saves are not uploaded to a player-account server operated by us. Android backup is disabled for the app.

3. Google Mobile Ads

The testing app includes Google Mobile Ads and requests Google test ads at occasional completion breaks. Even with test ads, the SDK connects to Google and can process information such as IP address and general location inferred from it, device information and identifiers permitted by the configuration, app/ad interactions and diagnostic information. These data can be used for ad delivery, measurement, service operation and fraud prevention. The exact information depends on the SDK version and settings.

Before initialization, ad requests are configured for children, G-rated content and non-personalized ads. Android advertising-ID permission and Android AdServices ad-ID, Topics and Attribution permissions are removed from this app. No mediation adapters are included. These measures do not mean that all third-party data collection is disabled.

Google explains its practices in its Privacy Policy and Mobile Ads data disclosures. Google’s handling and retention of information is governed by its applicable policies. We do not receive a player’s local puzzle history through the ad SDK.

4. Children and permissions

The game does not ask players for names, email addresses, photos or other profile details. It does not request camera, microphone or precise-location access. It does not implement parental-consent or identity verification. We assess applicable child-privacy and advertising requirements before a public monetized release. Parents and guardians can contact us about privacy or the game using the email below.

5. This website and support messages

This website uses locally hosted fonts and images. We have not added advertising, analytics, tracking pixels or browser storage to these pages. The hosting provider necessarily receives information to deliver the site, such as IP address, requested URL, time, browser details and technical/error logs. Hosting security services may also process request information.

If you email support, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use it to respond, investigate reported issues and maintain relevant support records. Our email service provider also processes those messages. Please do not send passwords, signing keys, a child’s full name, location or other unnecessary personal information. A parent or guardian should contact us on a child’s behalf.

6. Retention and deletion

Local progress remains until you reset it or remove app data. Reset progress in Settings or About & privacy erases completed adventures and tutorials while retaining preferences. Clearing app storage or uninstalling normally removes local app data. These actions do not delete information independently retained by Google.

We retain support messages only as needed to respond, resolve issues and meet applicable record-keeping obligations. Hosting providers retain technical logs according to their service and security practices. You may contact us to request access, correction or deletion of personal information you supplied to us, subject to applicable requirements. We cannot directly erase data independently controlled by Google; consult its privacy controls and policy.

7. Security, services and your choices

This website uses HTTPS. No system can guarantee absolute security. Third-party hosting, email and advertising providers may process information in countries other than your own under their applicable terms and safeguards. You may adjust game audio/motion settings, clear local progress, or use the bundled puzzles without an internet connection. Offline use prevents new network ad requests while disconnected.
